The Top 5 on the American Idol platform were finally chosen by the judges which included J.Lo on a consensual basis.
The Top 5 from American Idol have been selected and they will get to go on a sizzling summer trip together. The scene was hot as the last six talented singers had to have one of them eliminated.
The competition between Quentin Alexander and Harry Connick Jr. heated up. Alex Morgan and Abby Wambach from the US female soccer team announced the results which were met with applause and wolf whistles from the audience.
The top five will get to go on a journey in each other’s company. The #1 gal who got chosen for the role of one of the top 5 was Jax Cole. She belted out “Are You Gonna Be My Guy?” which was an alternative version of a song by The Jets. It was an instant hit with the crowd.

As a second choice, the lady warbled out the singer Dido’s “White Flag” which also knocked out the rivals. Nick Fradiani used his vocal chords for “Harder to Breathe” by Maroon 5. J.Lo praised him for his effort and said that he was unbeatable. “Maggie May” was his alternative song. Another judge criticized him a little though.

Clark Beckham sang the beautiful and haunting Paul McCartney number “Yesterday”. It was pure magic and mysticism not to mention metaphysics. His second fiddle was Bieber’s “Boyfriend” which was a bit off target but nevertheless he managed to drag through.

Tyanna Jones selected “Party in the USA” by that wild child Miley Cyrus. The second song was “Heaven” and she did very well there. Finally, Alexander and Rayvon Owen were left to duke it out on the vocal and musical level.

Alexander was spot on with “Light My Fire” by The Doors and the Lizard King, Jim Morrisson. “Shake It Out” was the number two pick. As for Owen, he sang “I’m Not The Only One” and “Go Your Own Way” by Sam Smith and Fleetwood Mac respectively.
All of America voted for Owen in place of Alexander. Alexander had to go home instead of on the tour with a hangdog look on his face. These then were the Top 5 who made it into the cream. Now the only thing left is to select the cream of the cream and that person, man or woman, would be the #1 chosen one of American Idol.
There is NO doubt that you’re gonna do BIG things, @QAlexanderXIV! We’ll miss you, buddy! #IdolFarewell— American Idol (@AmericanIdol) April 23, 2015
