The mode will work the same way it did on stock Android and will let users have their separate profiles
If there is one thing that keeps Android one step ahead of its competition then it’s the Guest Mode which allows a number of users to use a single device at one time. The feature was introduced first on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean and was initially only limited to the tablets however, now that the feature has been brought to the latest Android 5.0, smartphones can finally have their share of the amazing feature.
As much as it is a good news for Android fans, Samsung users must highly be disappointed. The company unfortunately has decided not to include the feature on any of its devices which are now running on the latest Lollipop. This means that the latest flagship S6 and S6 Edge are also not on board.
This calls for huge disappointment for all Samsung users right now but don’t lose hope because Sammobile reports say that the feature is expected to be brought with Android 5.1 update to the two flagship devices and sometime later it might also make its way to other updated Samsung devices too. And early and unfinished Android 5.1 build for the Galaxy S6 edge shows how the feature is going to the work on the device and as it appears, it will work just as it did on stock Android.
The Guest Mode will allow for the creation of separate profiles for each user, giving everyone their own personal space so they can install their favorite apps and personalize everything without interfering with others.
