Google is working to improve battery life in Android M

The Google I/O will be kicking off later this week and rumors regarding the next major iteration of Android, namely, Android M have already started to take their toll. The rumors shaping up are going to be an exciting proposition for Android users as this time around Android M will be focusing on optimizing Ram and battery performance. This will be done by cutting down the Ram usage and reducing device’s activity when it is off charger or when the device’s screen is off.

There will be a couple of tweaks on Google’s Play Services that should help expedite the process. Another rumor also indicates on the possibility of the OS offering native support for fingerprint scanners. The next iteration of Android, dubbed the Android M is all set to take the stage in August. The developments, though, will be made public in the upcoming days. With Google emphasizing on the Ram and battery management, things are starting to sound good for the world of Android because these two factors were probably the source of major complaints by Android users.
