Anna Chapman Was Assigned To Hit On Edward Snowden

Hot former Russian spy Anna Chapman is back in the news this weekend. Back in summer 2013 she was in the news in connection with Edward Snowden. Anna Chapman posted tweet asking Edward Snowden: ” Will You Marry Me?!”

Back then everybody thought this was a joke. Now a Russian defector claims that Anna Chapman was actually assigned to seduce Snowden to make sure he stays in Russia. British tabloid The Sunday People (via Mirror) broke that story citing as source former KGB major Boris Karpichkov.

He revealed that Snowden and Chapman met once. If Snowden would have fallen for Chapman and would have married her it would have put him into a weaker position. As a Russian citizen he would fall under stricter travel control. In the end the Russians anyway got what the wanted because of the west. Snowden is still in Russia as it is too dangerous for him to leave.

So is this story true? Who knows. It is originating from a tabloid, but it is gaining momentum as other British outlets like mail online are covering the story.

Snowden is one of the biggest heroes of our time revealing the massive extend of how we are spied on. At least he got now the alternative nobel price to get some recognition. I hope for him that he will somewhen have a free life again.

Anna Chapman was deported back in 2010 and has a career in Russia as model and TV host. Her spy days in the United States did pay off for a career in the media and she still look hot.
