Anne Hathaway lip syncs to Miley Cyrus’ Wrecking Ball

Anne Hathaway, she of The Devil Wears Prada fame, lip synced to Miley Cyrus’ Wrecking Ball music video clip. And the funny thing was that she did it with striking similarity.

Anne Hathaway received an Oscar for her realistic role in Les Miserables. But that was somber and serious stuff that evoked tears and sadness. 

On the humorous side, Anne Hathaway took to the comedy circuit to parody Miley Cyrus’ Wrecking Ball in a very vocal manner. Miley’s song had broken all records when it came out two years back. 

But Anne’s lip sync methodology elicited a few oohs and aahs too. She straddled a huge metal ball with her hips astride it and her arms holding the chain. And the rendition of the original song was so cool and funky that everybody loved it. 

The occasion was the Lip Sync Battle and Anne did an excellent job of not only sounding like Miley but looking like her as well. However, there was one proviso she decided to keep in the pack. 

SheAnne Hathaway would not go nude for the final takes. Whereas Miley took off her second skin for the video clip, Anne had more sense and kept on some vestiges of civilization.
