Star photographer Annie Leibovitz photographed the cast of Star Wars: The Force Awakens giving glossy glimpse inside the new Star Wars movie.
The June Vanity Fair issue is a must have for Star Wars fans. Legendary photographer Annie Leibovitz got access to J.J. Abrams Star Wars set and created a spread of photos showing the new and old Star Wars characters. Leibowitz even got Chewbacca to smile for the cover photo.
In addition to the cover, Annie Leibovitz traveled to the set of the new Star Wars movie and photographed never-before-seen images of characters played by Adam Driver, Gwendoline Christie, and Lupita Nyong’o.
Besides the photos from the Force Awakens set, the June Vanity Fair issue also features an interview with J.J. Abrams revealing several secrets including: “I have a thought about putting Jar Jar Binks’s bones in the desert there. I’m serious! Only three people will notice, but they’ll love it.”

The Vanity Fair’s June issue wil be available as a digital edition on Thursday, /4/7, and is on newsstands nationwide on Tuesday, /4/12.
The second Star Wars: The Force Awakens official trailer, released on April 16 has already close to 50m views on Youtube. The Episode VII in the Star Wars Saga, Star Wars: The Force Awakens, opens in theaters December 18, 2015.
