The $3.2 billion deal would be their biggest yet
Beats Electronics are one of the largest commercial headphone manufactures in the country. Since it was started by Jimmy Iovine and Dr Dre, it has grown to be a powerhouse in headphone production, but also in the streaming music world with the introduction of their own paid service.
According to Apple Balla, that service is now in competition with the newly created iTunes Radio, Apple’s answer to Pandora and Spotify. With the next update to iOS, it is expected that Apple is going to be placing much more emphasis on iTunes Radio, so this could be a great way of getting competition out of the way. They will also be put in a position to have the best headphones in the business as far as stock factory models go.
In either case, this will be the largest deal Apple has ever made, in addition to being the first time that they have acquired a company that already has an established reputation.
Apple is buying Beats for 3 billion? The most over rated over priced headphones? Yup, sounds like Apple!

Stay tuned to find out what this means for the future of Apple and the next iteration of the iPhone. There are a lot of things happening right now, making this one of the most exciting times in recent history for fans of Apple.
