Bethenny Frankel splits from Michael Cerussi

The Real Housewives of New of New York and the businessman have split due to differences in their lifestyles.

Bethenny Frankel who has written a romantic advice book called ‘I Suck at Relationships So You Don’t Have To’ has split from her handsome businessman boyfriend Michael Cerussi. In an interview with People, 44 year old Bethenny stated that currently she is single. She explained that she has been through a lot with telling everything about her personal life so she will not make any revealing statements anymore.

The star of ‘The Real Housewives of New York City’ ended her relationship with Cerussi after nearly 2 years. The two were first spotted together on New Year’s Eve in 2013. Bethenny who is currently engrossed in a bitter divorce battle with her husband Jason Hoppy has no long term plans for her romantic future.

While Bethenny appeared on Andy Cohen’s show she stated that she would never be legally married again. Moreover while the actor talked about dating in the future she explains that she never dated anyone in the showbiz and she doesn’t think that she would do so. She states that she only wants to date someone low-profile.

A source told E! that the former couple has dated but it was never a serious relationship. Sources also reveal that the pair has separated due to their lifestyle differences. Bethenny has a daughter who is her main focus in life and she shares custody of her daughter with husband Jason Hoppy.

Moreover sources have also explained that the businessman Cerussi did not like the spotlight but he always supported Bethenny. Moreover the timing of their relationship especially in terms of Bethenny’s divorce has also created many problems.

While the couple has separated Bethenny was seen skiing in Colorado last week with her daughter. The mother and daughter were seen in Snowmass, where Bethenny’s Real Housewives of New York co-star Ramona Singer was also seen. Bethenny explained that there used to be a time when she was embarrassed to be a Housewife.

Bethenny had left the Real Housewives of New York in season three and is now returning back to the franchise. She stated that there was this time when she felt that it did not start out as she had expected it to and so she had walked away. However now she is coming back to the show and she stated that she is feeling proud to do the show again. She says that now she feels it is a different show as now it seems real and seems honest.

It seems that the separation between the two has not been difficult for Bethenny at all or maybe she isn’t showing it by keeping herself busy. Well who knows, but what we know is that The Real Housewives of New York season seven premieres on April 7.
