Blue Ivy suggests Tina Knowles to get Married Again

Blue Ivy suggested her grandmother Tina Knowles to get married to Richard Lawson!

Tina Knowles the mother of Beyoncé Knowles recently revealed how her granddaughter Blue Ivy Carter compelled her to consider marriage again. 61 year old Tina Knowles had been in a relationship with Richard Lawson for some time but Blue Ivy’s interference made the couple seriously consider marriage. 

Tina explained how the family was on a yacht in September 2014 for Beyoncé when her daughter with Jay-Z bluntly asked her grandmother when she was getting married to her boyfriend Richard Lawson. Everyone was dressed to go for dinner when Blue Ivy told everyone they look beautiful and when are they all getting married.

Richard told Blue Ivy he will marry her grandmother soon but does Blue approve of him and she said Yes. After Blue Ivy gave her grandmother Tina Knowles the blessing to go down the aisle again, she sat down with her boyfriend and talked about marriage seriously for the first time. 

Tina has known Lawson for more than 30 years but they didn’t start dating until 2013, after Tina’s divorce from previous husband Matthew Knowles was finalized in 2011. Tina recently tied the knot again on the 12th of April 2015 and described the ceremony as being perfect. 

Tina will also be taking Lawson’s name and described she knew four months into the marriage the relationship was special. Tina describes how she had surgery while dating and Lawson flew out to take care of her health even though they had only been dating for four months.

Tina revealed to People that she thought at the time the whole situation was weird as they had only started dating and nursing her back to health was not romantic. Lawson showed his commitment to the relationship and took care of Tina patiently which proved to Tina he was the one for her.
