Bob Uecker Gets Locked in Radio Booth

Bob Uecker and associates locked in Radio Booth during game as door handle breaks!

Bob Uecker the legendary Milwaukee Brewers radio correspondent was locked inside a radio booth at the game between the Milwaukee and the Dodgers. On Wednesday night Bob along with several other radio crew members were temporarily trapped in the Miller Park radio booth.

The reason for their entrapment was quite mundane as an outside door handle simply broke off and imprisoned the team in the radio booth. No one could get in and out of the booth and only after the door was taken off its hinges did entry become possible. However to take the door off its hinges it had to be done from the inside which proposed a problem for some time.

Soon a ladder was brought around and the help reached the radio booth through the doors leading from the baseball field. The incident occurred during the 6th inning of the game played by Milwaukee against the Dodgers. The locking incident did not hinder the game and Milwaukee won against the Dodgers with a score of 6-3.

Even more surprisingly the event did not deter the famous Radio broadcaster who is famous for his incredible wit and he was on his game giving updates on the showdown on the field throughout the whole incident. Bon went on to correspond and even made a few jokes about the incident when he referred to himself as too old and only suited for the nursing home.

The 80 year old Walk of fame members described people are probably thinking he’s cooked as he’s seeing ladders and doors without handles. Bob’s broadcast partner Joe Block also found the entire situation as funny and even commented anyone could literally walk up into the radio booth from the field right now.
