Bruce Jenner Faces Lawsuit over Fatal Car Accident

The lawsuit was filed by the stepchildren of the women who died in the car crash back in February

Bruce Jenner’s misery does not seem to get over. The 65-year old former Olympian and reality TV personality recently spoke up for the first time about being transgender, ending months of speculation regarding his gender identity. Now he has been hit with a wrongful death lawsuit filed by the stepchildren of the woman Kim Howe who died in a fatal car crash back in February.

The stepchildren of the woman – Dana Redmond and William Howe — filed a suit on Friday, accusing Jenner of being “careless, reckless and negligent” when he slammed into Howe’s Lexus Sedan on the Pacific Coast Highway in Malibu, propelling her car into the opposite lane of oncoming traffic, then hitting it with another vehicle and causing the death of female driver at the scene.

Both the stepchildren have claimed in the lawsuit that the incident made them suffer a lot both financially and emotionally and they are demanding unspecified damages for their loss as they describe themselves dependent on the woman for their needs.

The deadly car incident took place in February 7 in which 69-year old woman Kim Howe was collided head-on by another vehicle. The incident resulted in the immediate death of the female driver and left eight people injured including five children.

Bruce Jenner, who was driving a black Cadillac SUV at that time, remained safe in the incident. He immediately expressed his grief and sent a condolence message to the families of the victim.

“It is a devastating tragedy, and I cannot pretend to imagine what this family is going through at this time. I am praying for them. I will continue to cooperate in every way possible.”

According to TMZ, The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department is investigating the incident but they are unable to determine yet who was at fault in the crash.
