Pre orders for the bands have begun at $50
Ever since Apple took the wraps off its Apple Watch, the world has been all about the various straps and bands which will go into making the watch customizable for every individual user. Manufacturers waiting in the lines to jump at this opportunity have finally started revealing their plans for the upcoming smartwatch.
Casetify, which specializes in custom-designed iPhone and iPad cases, is now at it, too. They are working to debut their very first Apple Watch accessory; the watch bands which can be customized for every owner with their choice of pictures and images. The company is giving users an opportunity to make use of the design feature on the site or even the company’s own mobile app to add pictures from their computers Instagram, or Facebook which will then be used to create their very personalized Apple Watch band.
Casetify is going to provide these bands in two sizes of 38mm and 42mm so they can easily fit both of the Apple Watch casing sizes. The bands will be fashioned out of polycarbonate silicone and while users are creating their own designs, they can pick from three different layouts. In addition to this, the images selected for the personalization of the bands can be edited using nine different filters.
However, it’s not a necessity that you have to customize the bands; the company offers some pre designed bands which you can purchase right away. Pre orders for the bands have started now with each band being priced at $50. All those who will be placing orders for their bands will have to wait till they ship out in June this year.
