Celine Dion YouTube Fan Meets with Her

One of the aficionados of ’s music on YouTube met with her in person on the 4th of July.

He was a big fan of Celine Dion. Richard Dunn made a video clip of his ideal female singer on his smart phone in Las Vegas and later on he returned and had his pictures taken along with the “My Heart Will Go On” crooner.  

He had posted the video on YouTube of Celine singing “All By Myself”. Richard’s very special video would go on to gain 13 million views on the Internet.  

Celine Dion meanwhile had done her show at the spot for the 200th time in a row. She too invited Richard and his family to fly in to Vegas and meet with her for a photo session.  

Richard and his family came as per schedule and had a good time hobnobbing with Celine. The group photograph they had taken along with Celine will live on in their family heirlooms.  

Richard admits this much that it was a very exciting thing meeting his favorite musical starlet. After meeting Celine DionHe, he said, “This is a once-in-a-lifetime memory I never thought would happen but will last forever.” 

Actually what had happened in the beginning was that Dunn had been stranded at the airport. So he decided to utilize his time by making a video clip of himself lip-synching to Celine’s song.  

This went viral when he posted it on YouTube. “What do you do when you’re stuck at the Las Vegas Airport overnight?” Dunn stated at the start of the video. “Shoot a music video on your iPhone. That’s what.” See the video below.

The result was that Celine got to know about it and she invited him over to meet her along with his near and dear ones. It was a five minute clip and despite the hilarity of the whole situation, Celine welcomed Richard Dunn and even commented that the video was something which she admired.  

“Hi, Richard! I have to say that the video was hilarious and very touching. I loved it,” 46-year-old Celine said in her YouTube video message to Dunn.

“Next time, you know, you’re stuck all by yourself at Las Vegas airport for hours and hours, please be my guest at my show. By the way, Richard, you’re more than welcome to use my bathroom. So I hope to see you soon!” See the video below.

Celine has many fans besides Dunn though. She also had her picture taken along with Lance Bass and Michael Turchin. Celine is best known for her role as the background songstress for the film Titanic which came out in the late 90s.  

The hauntingly memorable song she sang which caused many in the audience to cry tears as the star crossed lovers, Kate and Leonardo, part in the end, will live long in the public’s collective memory.
