CES 2015: Samsung unveils its 2015 ATIV Book 9

ATIV Book 9 is a new laptop by Samsung that provides unmatched display and seamless connectivity in the lightest Book 9 yet.

Samsung Electronics America Inc. is a world leader in the digital media and digital convergence technologies. Today Samsung announced its plans to introduce the new ultraportable laptop, the ATIV Book 9 at the CES 2015 in Las Vegas next week.

This new addition to the ATIV Book 9 line is an all-aluminum PC that offers an unmatched WQXGA display as well as improved connectivity and mobility for today’s always-on consumer. The ATIV Book 9 will be displayed at the Samsung booth 11906 in Central Hall at the CEs 2015.  

Gary Riding the vice president of mobile computing marketing at Samsung Electronics America stated that Samsung is very dedicated to providing the best options for consumers to stay fully connected and productive anywhere.

He explained that the ATIV Book 9 goes above and beyond in meeting this demand. Gary further stated that this new ATIV Book 9 will continue to revolutionize the ultrabook market with its new and stunning design and slimness. 

This new laptop is an impressive 0.46 inch and 2.06 pounds. This laptop by Samsung is the lightest Book 9 ever and so allows users to easily carry it anywhere they like. The laptop has an Intel Broadwell Core M processor and has a battery life of up to 10.5 hours and so makes the laptop one of the most desirable ultrabook. 

This new ATIV Book 9 also features improved connectivity and mobile capabilities and has a Wi-Fi Amp and this makes the Internet connection 20 percent faster. Moreover with the use of proprietary Samsung solutions that enables seamless sharing between devices the users can now easily share files and make and receive phone calls from the laptop without having their mobile device on-hand.

This new laptop has also been equipped with a low reflection coating with 350nits of brightness that bumps up to 700nits when in outside mode with the addition of a one-touch (Fn9) outdoor control mode to increase sunlight readability.

This leads to sharply displayed content both indoors and outdoors. Samsung has also kept in mind the security of its users when developing the new ATIV Book 9.

At log-in, users can now set a drawing pattern on the touchpad and hit one key to activate a secret screen to hide content from onlookers. It even has been equipped with camera and microphone record blocking.

The ATIV Book 9 with all these features and stunning design will be one of the best ultrabooks in the market yet. The ATIV Book 9 will be available for a starting MSRP of $1199.99.
