The International Consumer Electronics Show 2015 is certainly looking to carry on the tradition of revealing some of the newest and most recognizable technologies known to man. CES 2015 will take place from January, 6th until January, 9th, 2015 and will be held in Las Vegas, Nevada at various venues throughout the city. One highly anticipated technology that will be coming to CES 2015 is the voice activated cooking appliance technology that will be from Dacor. Dacor released their Discovery iQ appliances in 2014 with the 48 inch Dual-Fuel Range. Basically, Dacor will be showing a new technology which will allow a person to be able to manipulate their cook stoves with just the touch of an app screen on their smartphones or tablets.
The Dacor iQ Remote App will allow for a person to be able to use their voice to turn on and off their home ranges. This new voice activation technology will allow a person to use hands free technology to work a stove in case they could be late for a party or possibly an office function. According to Dacor CEO in Chuck Huebner, Dacor is looking to become the frontrunner in this new voice activated, appliance based technology. Huebner states that hands free cooking and the use of the Dacor iQ Remote App will no doubt enhance the cooking and hosting experience.
Dacor President Steve Joseph says that the Dacor iQ Remote App will be released to consumers starting in the Spring of 2015 but will be exhibited at CES 2015. Joseph says that the app will work with the Discovery iQ 48 inch and 36 inch cook ranges.
