CES 2015 Will Also Feature ACCESS Twine For Virtual Multiscreen Content Libraries

The solution will help operators enable consumers to find content across multiple sources via a single user interface which allows them to access the operator content as well as their personal media library on every device.

Dr. Neale Foster the COO and Global VP Sales TV of ACCESS Europe stated that the multiscreen era has brought many devices into the TV mix as the consumers now expect to access the content they love on screen on their devices too.

He explained that ACCESS Twine has been extended to ensure that the operators can now allow their subscribers to access all of their content via secure TV Everywhere virtual library. This he said is something new and ACCESS has taken the initiative in this. He also explained that ACESS Twine complies with the content industry’s stringent security requirements.

ACCESS will demonstrate how the ACESS Twine facilitates video content discovery and playback on mobile devices at the CES 2015 hosted at a demo suite in the Bellagio Hotel, Las Vegas. The extended solution can also be easily integrated with the external metadata sources, allowing the consumers to find all their content in one place by collating all locally stored libraries on a single platform.

ACCESS has also added a new global search functionality that enables operators deploying ACCESS Twine to offer services encompassing traditional broadcast services, IP delivered content and access to personal content.

ACCESS Twine is standards based multiscreen software solution that enables operators in the fast moving world today to connect the growing gap between technology and the consumer’s desire for simplicity.

Moreover this new technology will allow the control and distribution security on screens anywhere. It will enable the users to discover Pay TV on a number of devices and also provides the operators the ability to monetize multiscreen through advertising and data collection capabilities.

It also provides flexible software modules for set top boxes (STB), digital TVs and other devices. Plus ACCESS is providing the solution as a client for STBs, mobiles and tablets.
