The actor lost his backpack somewhere in New York City over the weekend.
Leaving something in your taxi cab in New York pretty much means you will never get it back, right? Not if you’re Channing Tatum and you have over 7 million Twitter followers who can help you out!
The actor and Magic Mike inspiration left his backpack in the backseat of a taxi cab located somewhere near Times Square:
Dropped off at 42nd street in New York City and left my bag in the cab!— Channing Tatum (@channingtatum) April 18, 2015
Fearing that some people might not be taking his quest to find his back seriously, the 22 Jump Street star followed up with another plea and included a new email address created specifically for the cause. “Seriously, left my black backpack in a cab near NYC’s 42nd street. If you find it, email me at findmybag@channingtatumunwrapped.com. Thanks!,” he posted.
Fortunatly, he was able to find the bag by late Sunday night, and tweeted out to everyone to thank his fans for their tireless searches:
To everyone who tried to help and to the good New York Samaritan who found my bag and asked for nothing in return, thank you. Thank you all!— Channing Tatum (@channingtatum) April 20, 2015
It’s good to know that there are still good people in this world!
