Battery Charges against singer Chris Brown suddenly dropped!

Chris Brown was recently charged with battery in Las Vegas. A man claimed Brown punched him during a basketball game and was admitted to the Sunrise Hospital and Medical Center as a result on the 4th of May. The police recently reported the man who set up charges against Brown is dropping the charges in the criminal case.

The man had previously stated he had been playing basketball at the Palms Casino Resort when he got involved in an argument with the 25 years old singer Brown. When the argument heated up Brown allegedly punched him on the court and when the man was just about to defend himself another person from Brown’s entourage hit him again.

The victim then took himself to the Sunrise Hospital and Medical Center as he was treated for non-life threatening injuries and later released. Police had been investigating the scene when the accuser called and dropped the complaint against Brown. The man did not provide a reason for dropping the charges and the case is officially closed.

Chris Brown had been in Las Vegas for his performance at the match between boxers Floyd Mayweather and Manny Pacquiao. The performance was also the kick off to the start of more performances to come from Brown in Las Vegas just as the assault charges against him were filed.

Chris Brown has been in the media spotlight for misbehavior since 2009 when he attacked his then girlfriend Rihanna. The troubled singer was also just released from probation for felony assault a mere six weeks ago.

Due to his violent behavior the singer’s entry has been famously blocked in many countries. Brown was previously not allowed to enter England by British officials in 2010 and recently in February he was refused entry in Canada and had to cancel two shows as a result.
