Chris Soules and Whitney Bischoff are a Match made with Diamonds

The Bachelor finale couple from season 19 sealed the deal with ‘I love you” and a 4 carat ring designed by Neil Lane and the couple receives blessings from the whole nation.

The Bachelor came to a happy ending when the Arlington based Iowan farmer Chris Soules proposed the Chicago fertility nurse Whitney Bischoff. After everyone had enjoyed the lovey-dovey moment of the couple’s sweet union in the barn of the house Chris grew up in. It was time to go into the details.

First off was the reason of the decision that he had made when he had chosen Whitney over Becca Tilley. Chris justified his decision by explaining the Becca wasn’t quite there in her commitment to go into a relationship.

Whitney had shown pure dedication in starting a life and his sister was kind enough to remind him that he was looking for a wife rather than a girlfriend. Whitney was ready she wanted to be with him even if that meant moving in with him to Arlington. He says that the more time he spends with Whitney, the more he realizes her as his soul mate.

So what did Chris get for his soul mate then? Besides the traditional The Bachelor’s rose, Chris got down to his knees and extended his proposal with an original Neil Lane designed 4 carat diamond ring. When asked, Chris told ABC News that while he would have been happy with any and every piece Lane showed him, the ring he chose looked “the sharpest, coolest, cleanest, [most] perfect ring.”

The ring is a beautiful emerald cut diamond which was 3.6 carats set in a platinum band. The rock is surrounded by 20 smaller diamonds accented by two tapered baguettes. The entire circumference of the band is adorned by small round diamonds. Whitney was very appreciative of the ring as she showed it to the cameras on their media tour but she said she is happier and more excited for getting engaged and finding true love.

The couple is currently on a media tour. Whitney revealed that a wedding is not happening in the near future. They are just looking forward to living like a normal couple. Once she moves to Arlington, they will be spending more time together. She did reveal that they will be in L.A. and Chris has plans for them.

Chris has told ABC News that he intends to go and watch the “American Sniper” with Whitney once they get away from the tour. He will then take her to dinner as thanks. Whitney is open to the idea because she says she has no idea about good restaurants in L.A. and it will be interesting.

The couple will be biding their time before Chris heads to yet another show. Yes, he is a competitor in the brand new season of “Dancing with the Stars” so Whitney will be cheering her fiancé’s dance moves.
