Famous model and active Twitter user Chrissy Teigen quits Twitter over hate.
28-year-old super model Chrissy Teigen had a very active Twitter account. Now she apparently quit using Twitter end of last week. Her last Tweet said that She feels sick and that she takes her talents to Instagram. Why is she leaving Twitter? She got into a controversy over a Tweet she posted in response to the Canadian Shooting last week. She made a snappy comment that lots of Twitter users did not understand how she meant it. She tweeted: “active shooting in Canada, or as we we call it in america, wednesday.” Criticism pored in from Canadians and Americans instantly. This triggered a clarification Tweet from Teigen that explains that she wanted to make the obvious point of America’s issue with gun control.
