Christina Aguilera Spoofs Lady Gaga, Miley Cyrus, Britney Spears and More

Christina shows off her acting skills when she imitated Miley Cyrus, Sia, Britney Spears, Lady Gaga, Cher and Shakira for a montage on The Voice.

Five time Grammy Award winner Christina Aguilera impressed the shoes off Jimmy Fallon on the Tonight show when she imitated Cher, Shakira and Britney Spears whilst they competed in the Wheel of Musical Impressions game.

Christina ended up almost perfect renditions of Cher, Shakira and her ex co-star and nemesis Britney Spears. Singing jingles on the tunes of the tunes of the singers’ famous tunes.

The Voice judge thought it would be hilarious to film a montage where she would imitate the above three singers and three more if they were next contenders to become the judges on the show.

She kicked off with Miley Cyrus. She took on Miley’s 2013 “We Can’t Stop” look with the white outfit, the short hairstyle and the red lips and a big cheer glove. She imitated Miley saying “On my team we’re going to learn how to twerk. We’re going to learn to slap it up, flip it, rub it down. It’s going to be a party in the USA, y’all!” while poking herself with the glove at the end. 

As Sia, she donned on her signature wig and was accompanied by a girl in the same outfit. Supposedly Sia couldn’t see anything and had to be narrated about what she wanted by the little girl. She fell asleep in the end. 

Her Britney Spears impression included her being dressed up in a Catholic school girl uniform similar to what Britney wore in “Hit Me Baby One More Time” video.

Supposedly, Christina’s Britney was the dumb blonde who got excited by revolving chairs and thought they had spelt her name wrong. Britney’s argument for telling contestants to join her team was “Hey, y’all. Join Team Britney. It’ll be super fun. Join team Britney, bitch!”

Christina’s Shakira looked the most natural when she put on a heavy Columbian accent and started talking with long and hard words; “Your voice is so mellifluous.” The montage also showed her explaining, “Tambour is tantamount to the tone” and “That subjugation makes you very beguiling” to a contestant.

For Lady Gaga she put on her 2008 MTV Video Music Awards look. The scarlet net which matched exactly with the chair. She went on to suggest that the chair should be changed to match her meat suit.

She also imitated her co-star in Burlesque, Oscar award winner, Cher. Aguilera wore a look from 1989’s “If I Could Turn Back Time” music video while imitating Cher’s annoyed attitude and went on to call Adam Levine her accountant and didn’t recognize who Blake Shelton was. 

According to Christina it was all done in good faith as a tribute to all the women who inspired her. She tweeted after the performance; “This was so fun! Fun tribute to those I love & admire. XoXtina.”

Whether it was to give them a tribute or make fun of them or prove that she was the best female artist to be a judge on the show remains to be determined. The imitated divas have not yet responded and their reaction would determine whether Christina’s actions will have consequences or not.
