Demi Lovato dedicates Song to Bruce Jenner

During her Auckland concert Demi Lovato dedicates song to Bruce Jenner.

Last night in New Zealand we saw that Demi Lovato threw her musical support behind Bruce Jenner. The pop star dedicated her performance of the ballad ‘Warrior’ to the Olympic gold medalist during her concert in Auckland at the Vector arena. Apart from this Lovato also revealed to the audience that she did not know who Jenner was until she saw Keeping up with the Kardashians. 

While talking to the crowd she stated that she just wants to dedicate a song to Jenner even though it seems so cheesy. She stated that she wants to dedicate it to someone who became an even bigger hero last night. She also stated that she never imagined that she would be dedicating a song to Jenner but he is very honest and open about his story and there are very few people like him.

Lovato explained that it doesn’t matter whether you agree with him or not he is still a hero as he probably has saved so many lives and educated so many people about transitioning into becoming a woman. So she stated that she just wants to dedicate the song to him.

Bruce Jenner who is the father of six and step dad of four stated to E! News that he has been struggling with his gender identity since he was a little boy in an interview with Diane Sawyer on Friday. He stated that for all purposes he is a woman. He explained that people look differently at him thinking he is a macho male but in fact he has a female side inside him and it is a part of him. 

As many of you would know that Lovato is no stranger to the Jenners and Kardashians as she credited Kim Kardashian for helping her through a rough patch when she was in a rehab about four years ago. Lovato has also stated that Kim is like an elder sister to her.

The pop singer in 2011 has explained in an interview that she feels some people are your friends by just talking to you on Twitter or over text messages but true friends are those people that were there for her when she underwent treatment. The two girls that kept calling her while she was in rehab was Kim and Selena Gomez and these two mean the whole world to her.
