- Plane Crash Investigation Set To Begin Which Killed Pastor Dr. Myles Munroe.
The plane that was heading to the Bahamas crashed and it killed prominent pastor Myles Munroe.
The plane crashed near the Grand Bahama International Airport. A full investigation is set to start from today on the plane that killed everyone on-board. The pastor alongside his wife were also killed in the plane crash. Nine people were onboard the jet when it crashed and sadly all of them died.
The news of the plane crash was first reported by the Royal Bahamas Police Force. Dr. Myles Munroe and wife Ruth was travelling along other seven passengers and the news was confirmed by Kelly Jackson who is a spokeswoman from the Andrew J. Young Foundation.
Myles Munroe was a motivational speaker and a pastor. He is also the founder of the Bahamas Faith Ministries International Fellowship. His wife Ruth served as the co-senior pastor. The ambassador Young said that he was deeply saddened on the death of Myles Munroe.
He said that he had offered condolences to the Munroe family and families of the other souls that were lost in the tragic plane crash. Another pastor and senior vice president Rich Pinder also died in the crash according to ABC News. Munroe and his wife were going to the Bahamas to attend a Global Leadership Forum which was arranged by Munroe.
The event is likely to continue according to its Facebook page. The page said “That is what Dr. Munroe would have wanted. Please keep his family and the ministry in prayers”. The president of Oral Roberts University released a statement in which he said “His energy and enthusiasm for imparting Spirit Empowered Christianity to new generations was contagious”.
Munroe used to be a student at the Oral Roberts University. One of the spokesperson from the Bahamas Air accident investigation and prevention unit said that the cause of crash is still unknown and they can’t confirm all the victims. The plane crashed at a ship yard and into a crane.
The accident happened at 5pm yesterday. They were flying from Nassau to the Bahamas. Myles Munroe was awarded the OBE in 1998 for his social and spiritual contributions to the national development of the Bahamas. He was also the leader of the Bahamas Faith Ministries.
There was heavy rain which might had a huge part in the plane’s crash. The plane took off from the Lynden Pindling International Airport at 4.07pm and crashed as it was approaching the airport in Bahamas at 5.10pm. The authorities want a fresh start on the investigation and they said they want to start on Monday on the investigation.
