Ellen DeGeneres to produce ‘Green Eggs and Ham’ TV Series for Netflix

Netflix and Ellen DeGeneres will be making a TV show based on the ‘Green Eggs and Ham’ book by Dr. Seuss!

Netflix has decided to bring the characters from the classical Dr. Seuss book ‘Green Eggs and Ham’ on the big screen and Ellen DeGeneres will be assisting them as the producer. The streaming company Netflix will soon be making a TV show based on the classical children’s book ‘Green Eggs and Ham’.

The project will take place under the supervision and collaboration of Netflix, Dr. Seuss’ estate, Ellen DeGeneres as executive producer and the Warner Bros studio. The children’s book ‘Green Eggs and Ham’ by Dr. Seuss was a bestseller when it was released in the 1960’s. 

Ellen announced the news on the latest episode of her talk show. According to Ellen she will be producing the show and the series will be a cutting edge innovative and animated series shown on television for the first time.

Ellen even shared the series will combine two of her most favorite items Dr. Seuss and binge watching. The show will consist of 13 episodes but will not be out until 2018 for viewers however Ellen promised it will be worth the wait. 

Netflix announced the news on Wednesday along with a rhyme in Dr. Seuss fashion which states they would love to share the news that ‘Green Eggs and Ham’ will be coming to TV for the first time. The reader of the post is the first ones who know about the news.

Netflix previously announced its plan to revive the show ‘Full House’ and it seems the streaming giant is going for another blast from the past.  The series will premiere exclusively on Netflix and only subscribers will have the viewership rights in over 50 countries where Netflix service is available.
