The Desperate Housewives starlet got a whiff of the sweet smell of success recently. She is a very capable actress and celebrity par excellence.
Eva Longoria of Desperate Housewives fame joined Brooklyn Nine-Nine recently and she will be playing the love interest of Andy Samberg on the show.
It seems like Miss Eva Longoria is high on a happy ride. Eva’s character Sophia will be the paramour of Jake which is played by Andy. Other actresses on the show include: Melissa Fumero, Kyra Sedgwick and Jenny Slate.
According to TVNZ, “Longoria will appear in a three-episode arc as Sophia, a defense attorney who catches Jake’s attention when she faces him in court.”
Desperate Housewives stopped airing two years ago. This has been Eva’s biggest venture since that moratorium in her acting chops. New season premier of Brooklyn Nine-Nine will air on Sunday, September 28 at 8:30/7:30c on Fox.
Meanwhile, former star of ‘Desperate Housewives’ stripped down and got all soaking wet for the ALS ice bucket challenge recently. Eva was nominated and in turn chose Victoria Beckham or Posh Spice for the challenge.
The test of one’s limits to withstanding shock is basically an effort to spread awareness of Lou Gehrig’s disease. The malady is incurable at present.
On the other hand Eva Longoria got her name included among the top 20 women entrepreneurs and leaders of the world. She is a very vivacious and vigorous Latina.
And she is drop dead gorgeous to boot. The women who rock and are movers and shakers in the world include some very strong and stable personalities.

These loyal and refulgent ladies deserve a huge ovation and the highest accolades and awards for their performance in a sometimes cruel and brutal men’s world.
They are a constant source of inspiration to so many and have built a reputation that will last long after they have passed away. The fact that such a limited list includes Eva on it is proof of her resilience and stick-ability as a starlet and screen siren that is worth viewing with pleasure.
