Felicity Jones joins Star Wars Spinoff Cast

Star Wars makers, Lucasfilm and Disney, have decided to work with Oscar-nominated actress Felicity Jones for their 2 spin-off movies after a long recruitment procedure.

So for the one of two stand-alone spinoffs of Star Wars, Felicity Jones is going to be the lead female actress. The 31 year old actress is an evolving actress and she recently did great movies including the Theory of Everything.

We still don’t know who will play the male lead for the film but it is rumored that he will be brought forward in little time. The main reason it is taking so long in casting is that the film makers want the new characters to catch the essence of Boba Fett and Han Solo.

We still don’t have any more information regarding the Star Wars spinoff. Some rumored male actors that might be chosen to play the lead male role could be Aaron Paul or Edgar Ramirez.

Aaron Paul is far more popular as he played in the hit AMC series Breaking Bad and he even won a lot of awards alongside Bryan Cranston. Still no descriptions have been brought forward about Felicity Jones’ role or the male actor’s role in film.

Just like all of the previous Star Wars movies, the spinoff plot has been kept a secret. It is reported that Gareth Edwards is working closely and is attached to direct with Weitz. Both of them are reworking Gary’s original screenplay.

A release date was announced by Lucas Films and they said that the new J.J. Abrams’ Star Wars: The Force Awakens movie will be released on 18 2015. And the next spinoff part of the Star Wars movie would be released after almost a complete year on 15 December, 2016.

The viewers will see that these spinoff movies are set 30 years after what happened in Return Of The Jedi. Most of the characters from the original Star Wars movies including Harrison Ford, Carrie Fisher and Mark Hamill are joined by John Boyega, Daisy Ridley, Andy Serkis, Adam Driver and Lupita Nyong’o in upcoming Star Wars: The Force Awakens.

However, Felicity Jones is now in talks to play the lead role in the next two Star Wars spin-off movies that will be directed by Gareth Edwards, according to THR. Gary Whitta has written the first draft of the Star Wars spinoff, however Chris Weitz has now replaced Whitta and he will write the 2 new sequels.

So this year is going to be a great one for Felicity Jones. First she got in to the The Theory Of Everything movie and now she was chosen for another hit movie. She also played a part in the Amazing Spiderman 2 movie and this is why she will do well in the upcoming movie.
