Game of Thrones Season 5 Premiere hits London

The upcoming episode of Game of Thrones is to feature sex and cruelty in equal measures. It revisits the medieval time with their torrid romanticism and rough and tough ways.

Whether it is slaying monsters, knife-play or rescuing princesses that faint at the sight of a wound, Game of Thrones will enter its fifth season soon and recently had its premiere at a famous site. The Tower of London was the location where the scenes were shot.

The saga of conflicts and political intrigues portray violence and seduction in heady doses. And what better place to showcase these machinations than the Bloody Tower. The dragons that appeared in multidimensional form and the decapitations coupled with the dungeon scenes make for exciting if visceral viewing. It is blood-lust and blood-sport all the way.

All the characters can wave security goodbye since no such thing exists anymore (at least in reel life that is). The portrayal of rape as sex gone wrong is something that it takes a bit of chutzpah to watch. And the sheer brutality that can be seen in the amount of blood (ketchup?) split is also something to take into consideration. The shooting of the scenes was done with classic expertise. 

As for the nudity it was the sort that would nuke your eyes and brain not to mention some very vital parts. The epic drama delivers history in its true meaning as a series of suffered moments on a platter for the audience to watch with eyes fully open.

Tyrion and Varys can be seen in one brief glimpse where they have an altercation on a verbal level. Another clip which has come out beforehand as a teaser of sorts shows Jon Snow discussing something important with another man and the gist is that human life is worth more than foolish pride.

It is a case of total devastation and nihilistic chaos on a grand scale. Tyrion’s habit of drunkenness /4/prove problematic, yet he manages to do his job with one hand tied behind his back. Up until now not many spoiler alerts have been aired regarding the Game of Thrones.

Things are still being pretty much kept under wraps and that is the way it should be. When the audiences will get to see Game of Thrones in its fifth season shortly, they will face some shocks that will be entertaining in a solid manner.
