Giuliana Rancic dishes out the fashion hits and misses at Emmys

Sarah Hyland seems to have topped the list and the E! host also wished her new colleague Maria Menuonos well

We are definitely not waiting till the next episode of “Fashion Police” to get to know of Giuliana Rancic‘s thoughts on who wore it best at last night’s Emmys. She has already given her approval for Sarah Hyland while talking to the Daily News. Talking about the 23 year old Modern Family actress, Rancic said “Typically the gowns she chooses are too mature for her, they age her too much, and she’s a young girl. I loved that I saw her so youthful and fresh. The color was beautiful. I’ve never seen her look better.”

The Modern Family star who so charmingly took over E!’s Giuliana Rancic walked down the red carpet in a Christian Siriano long coral skirt and white crop top. Where Miss Hyland received full appreciation for her dressing style, we all got more than disappointed upon seeing Lena Dunham’s massive frou frou frock. About that Rancic said “It breaks my heart because she loved the dress she said she felt like a princess (in it). I saw her and I was like ‘Oh my gosh.’ It was outrageous. Everyone was staring at it like, what?” And she also added that she can confidently say that anything else from Dunham would be “a sellout.”

“She hams it up a little and she knows people are gonna talk about it the next day. But at the same time I don’t expect anything less of her. I think if she came in something super sophisticated and boring, to me, it would feel like a sellout. I like that she stays quirky and true to who she is.”

Another person we need to mention here is Maria Menuonos and it is very likely that she would soon join Rancic on E! as a co-worker. Maria inked a multiyear deal with the network in /4/and Rancic had something really nice to say about her as she said “I’ve known her for a really long time,” Rancic said of Menuonos. “I’m really happy for her. E!’s such a great place, it’s made all my dreams come true. It’s been an incredible place, so I hope she realizes her dreams here too because it really is an amazing place where you can achieve your dreams and become successful. I hope that E! does for her what I’m very fortunate to (be able to do).”

At the moment Giuliana Rancic is taking some time off from the award season but the busy host and mom is already preparing for her next big venture which is a partnership between her FAB-U-WISH breast cancer charitable initiative and The Pink Agenda, another breast cancer cause.
