Hayden Panettiere Says She is 40 Pounds Heavier Due to Her Unborn Baby
All women gain a lot of weight when they are expecting a child and Hayden Panettiere is no exemption. As a matter of fact, the star is proud of her baby bump and her weight. According to USmagazine, the NashVille star is pregnant for her boyfriend, Wladimir Klitschko. The twenty five year old star was speaking to Hello! magazine. For those who are still wondering about the gender of the unborn star, it’s a baby girl.
Panettiere is in her eighth month and so she still has one more month to go. The star said that the weight was too much for her feet because they feel like they can break. “I’m 5 feet, 2 inches, and I started out at 106 pounds and guess how much I weigh now? Around 145 pounds,” the actress said (via

“And the worst part is that my feet are still size five and they’re going, ‘What’s going on with all this weight?’ They’re about to snap from underneath me with the strain.”
The star actually posed for a photo leaving her baby bump uncovered and posted it on her Twitter handle for everyone to see.

She looked great in her Halloween makeup. She pointed out that the sudden weight gain is owed it to her participation in athletics in the past.
Hayden said that her weight gives her strength because moving around helps in increasing the tolerance of her muscles. “I’m still quite muscular, so if you’re running around carrying 40 pounds of extra weight, you’re going to build extra muscle,” the former athlete disclosed.
Though Panettiere is interested in tying the knot in a wedding with the Ukrainian boxer, the star said she can not participate in such an event until she has delivered. Klitschoko therefore has to wait a little longer to walk her down the aisle. The star said she can not see herself wedding when she is still overweight.
“I’ll tell you one thing for sure, I am not walking down the aisle 40 pounds heavier than usual in a wedding dress with a huge pregnancy belly stitched in. Not happening,” she said. Apparently, the star will first be a mom before she becomes someone’s wife. She is eagerly waiting for the arrival of her little girl and she has so much to offer to her.
“I’m so ready to hold my baby girl,” she further added. “I’m going to be a very hands-on mom. I’m thrilled that I am having a girl first because I feel like I know a lot about raising a strong woman. I feel very empowered myself and I think my daughter will, too.”
