- TV Land announced that it’s most popular show will be airing its final season.
- Betty White will be returning to finish off the show after having won an Emmy for her performance.
The sixth season will be the shows last and the network celebrates its brilliant cast for giving it amazing networking.
After a year of showcasing vintage TV, TV Land featured the original production of ‘Hot in Cleveland’ starring a savvy cast of Hollywood-ites migrating to Cleveland. Within a few seasons the series started to order 20 seg episodes. The show put the cabler on the map of the biz.
TV Land announced that the current season in production of the show will be its sixth and last. The show logged its 100th episode this September and it has been invaluable for the network. The show is licensed in 210 countries and syndicated in 96% of the US. There has been no show like this before.
The President of TV Land Larry Jones acknowledged the amazing cast of the show including Valerie Bertinelli, Jane Leeves, Wendie Malickand the incomparable Betty White.
“After five incredible seasons of Hot in Cleveland, the sixth season, currently in production, will be its last,” TV Land president Larry W. Jones told THR.
“It’s been an honor to work with Valerie Bertinelli, Jane Leeves, Wendie Malick and the incomparable Betty White as well as our executive producers Suzanne Martin, Todd Milliner, Sean Hayes and the rest of our exceptional writers, production team and crew. The passion and talent they brought to the set each and every week over the past five years has put TV Land on the map as a network dedicated to quality original programming. We will continue to celebrate the show and are looking forward to a fantastic series finale.”

Betty White earned a supporting comedy actress Emmy nom in 2011 for her role as the crafty Elka, and she took back-to-back Screen Actors Guild awards in 2011 and 2012 for the show. She is definitely a patron.
Larry also thanked the executive producers Suzanne Martin, Todd Milliner, Sean Hayes and the rest of our exceptional writers, production team and crew. It is no doubt that the show is definitely a frontrunner success and it will be dearly missed by all 2.4 million of its viewers.
Jones emphasized that they will dedicate themselves to celebrate the show and all the amazing people involved in making it a success for this last entire season. They will definitely say their goodbyes but the show will always remain a patron of the network.
