Infiniti
Full video will debut at Beijing auto Show
If you follow F1 racing at all, you know the name Sebastian Vettel. He is a racing champion and drives for the Infiniti Red Bull racing team that has been so successful in the F1 series. Vettel is also the Infiniti Director of Performance, and I was glad to see him get that title.
Infiniti had some “performance” cars, but they were all very boring and lacked in the performance department. One of the coolest Infiniti cars that the company has come up with is the Q50 Eau Rogue and a video teaser is now making the rounds.
The video is teasing Vettel as he tests the Eau Rouge concept to help tweak the car for the next phase of its development. Infiniti seems intent on bringing the car to market. I would assume they would water it down a lot compared to what Vettel wants.
I can’t see many Infiniti shoppers buying a hard-edged sports sedan. The video here is nothing but a teaser. The actual video of Vettel testing the 560hp prototype won’t be unveiled until the 2014 Beijing Auto Show.

The testing takes place at the Millbrook Proving Ground facility in the UK. Vettel puts the prototype though a series of performance handling, and precision evaluations. Infiniti says his feedback will be used to perfect the car. Check out the teaser video above. It’s odd seeing Vettel in a rather boring looking car like the Q50, I picture him in sports cars only.
