Jillian Michaels Speaks About Leaving The Biggest Looser
Jillian Michaels has finally broken the ice about her exit from The Biggest Looser. The wellness trainer has been featured in the reality show since 2004. She explained that the urge to exit was brought by some misunderstanding between her and the management.
DailyMail has learned that Jillian intended to remain in the show as long as some things were done differently. The fitness specialist explained that she expected the directors to implement the changes she had recommended and when they did not address her needs, she interpreted their refusal to imply that she was not needed in the show.
The trainer stated that she had no option but to quit simply because the directors had the final say. This is actually the third time the trainer has exited the show. Jillian is said to have left The Biggest Looser in 2006 and in 2011.
Jillian said that they had disagreed with the directors in certain issues in the past but since they did not carry much weight, she opted to remain in the show. The the trainer did not elaborate on the issues that caused her to disagree with the directors, but it is believed that her decision was pegged on Rachel Frederickson.
Rachel won the contest in the previous season of the show after loosing 155lbs. The contestant is said to have lost a lot of weight which left eye brows raised. The entire training crew was blamed for exposing the contestant to unhealthy weightloss. Jillian said that she felt guilty even though she did not personally handle Rachel.
Additionally, Jillian explained that she was concerned about the impact of Rachel’s results could cause to her two kids, Phoenix and Lukensia. The trainer is currently in UK to create awareness about her Maximize Your Life tour that is scheduled to begin in January 2015.
