Joel McHale Joins The X-Files Revival as Guest Star

Joel McHale is to mingle with The X-Files revival. The handsome star will be coming on board the project to lend his two cents worth of acting ability.

Something new is about to happen on the set of The X-Files revival. The star of Community, Joel McHale will be making a guest appearance on the camera catching scenes from the series, accoridng to THR.

He will act in the capacity of an ultra-conservative media man named Tad O’Malley who unwittingly serves as a yes-man to Agent Mulder. The show will start airing in January of 2016. And McHale will play a pivotal role in the six episode series. 

Gillian Anderson who plays Scully and Mitch Pileggi will also be there working shoulder to shoulder with McHale and David Duchovny. As for Chris Carter, he will write the script as he usually does with his genius skills.

McHale has been making regular appearances in Community which went off the air sometime last year. Now he has a novel stint on The X-Files revival which he will complete in real time. 

The X-Files is all about weird and crazy conspiracy theories specifically those having to do with aliens and UFOs. The idea of big government and the military-industrial complex having something to hide from the general public is the main topic that gets presented again and again in different forms.

Everything from secret documents that will spell doom for the powers that be to alien life forms that visit earth and leave crop circles courtesy of their flying saucer aircraft are delved into with gusto by the series that is The X-Files.
