Josh Duggar Sorry for Molestation, Resigns from 19 Kids and Counting

Josh Duggar’s dark past has led to his resignation from the Family Research Council. And Mama June, whose show titled “Honey Boo Boo” was cancelled over her supposed liaisons with a child molester, is about to engage in litigation against TLC for condoning the Duggar’s show and cancelling her program.

It appears to be the case that Josh Duggar,the eldest son in “19 Kids and Counting”, has some skeletons in the closet and their divulgence has raised quite a stink in America’s culture wars.

The reality TV program celebrates the Christian lifestyle of family values and compassionate conservatism. The Duggars have always espoused a clean cut image of goodness and plainly shown their strong faith in God as devout evangelical Christians.

But as is evident from the Facebook page of the Duggars, Josh acted in just the opposite way once upon a time. When he was a teenager, he molested several underage girls whose families brought lawsuits against him.

However, his family intervened and sought counselling not to mention an annulment of the charges brought against him. This obviously makes it all quite a controversial matter. Josh has resigned from the Family Research Council of which he was the head. It was indeed the right thing to do.

Josh’s mom and dad, Jim Bob and Michelle, said that they had always taught their eldest son the difference between good and evil. But he had faltered and so they had to face a lot of difficulty way back then when Josh was in his teens.

They say that however with the Grace of God, they all found their way as a large and happy family. After lots of psychological counselling and faith-based corrective measures, Josh emerged as a responsible individual who was decent, strong and resolute. 

Josh and his wife of many years, Anna, also confessed on Facebook that they had told everything to each other at the time of marriage. But Mama June, whose program on TLC titled “Honey Boo Boo” was chucked out due to her relationship with an erstwhile child molester named Mark McDaniel, is mad as hell and wants to sue the channel for its unfair and undue favoritism. 

According to TMZ, Mama June said that she didn’t even have a close bond with the alleged child molester Mark, yet her program was jettisoned off the airwaves thereby nearly bankrupting her completely.

However, this holier-than-thou Christian family, whose eldest son had been guilty of such heinous crimes in the past, was being condoned. This reeked of hypocrisy and double standards and she has claimed that she would sue the channel in the court of law.
