Karrueche Tran Talks about Chris Brown and Rihanna

Karrueche Tran let it all out with Keke Palmer on her BET talk show Just Keke recently. The show will air tomorrow. She couldn’t help talking about the Chris Brown–Rihanna-Karrueche bizarre love triangle that got built up and blown way out of proportion once upon a time. 

According to Karrueche, she not only had to bear the brunt of the burden, she also had to face the 14 million angry fans of Rihanna. Her boyfriend Chris Brown was stuck between two girls: Karrueche Tran and his ex-girlfriend Rihanna. 

And the fact that Karrueche was a quiet and reserved person most of the time meant that she had to listen to all sorts of nasty lies about herself from the rabid fans of Rihanna. 

“I’ve never dated a celebrity before so it was very new to me — paparazzi and all that,” Tran told Keke. “And then, even the situation with Rihanna, you know the reason why people tuned into this so much was because it’s relatable: I have girlfriends, I have family who’s gone through the same situation. It’s the case of the ex. We all go through it, do you know what I’m saying?”

“In this case, my boyfriend is a celebrity whose ex-girlfriend is an even bigger [celebrity] … so, not only am I fighting a battle with her, I’m fighting a battle with her 14 million fans or whowever else,” Tran continued.

“So, imagine how that feels for me when I gotta get on Twitter and I see a whole bunch of stuff … they make up all kinds of crazy stuff and it’s, like, they know nothing about me. But you know, because they know nothing about me, because I stay so mute sometimes, that leaves open space for them to say whatever they want.”

Meanwhile, she also spoke about Chris and how she really loved him and how he broke her heart in two. It was a sad moment indeed for Tran. 

At one point in the interview, Keke asked Karrueche what was the hardest part she had to face in the whole battle for her man. She said with tears in her eyes that it was the heartbreak that was the worst part. 

Karrueche was visibly shaken and tried to control herself but the waterworks just went on and on and finally Keke had to give her a hug and comfort her. 

Karrueche said that her whole family had faced this situation of the ex that turned out to be a betrayer and big-time liar. She said that everyone goes through this situation at least once in a lifetime. 

Yet through it all with the paparazzi going crazy and the media circus that she had to face, there was only one constant in her life. And that was her undying love for Chris Brown. 

And the fact that he returned to his ex Rihanna was proof of the fact that a man can tell a thousand lies. Today she is over him yet she still feels so dejected at the merest mention of Chris.
