Kate Upton on Men and the Male Mystique

Kate Upton wants the men in her life to be suave and genial. She recently dished the dirt on men and the male mystique.

Sitting down for an interview with GQ, the va va va voom lady blathered on about how she prefers her suitors to be. She spoke of the top factor in male grooming. And it was none other than self-confidence.

“I think, really, it’s all about confidence – it’s however a guy feels the most confident,” Kate said. “And anytime someone walks into a room who is just exuding confidence, I think whatever they’re doing is amazing.”

However, that does not mean it is confidence alone that will see a male through. On the contrary, being squeaky clean and wearing a little aftershave or eau de cologne matters too.

Body odor is a big no-no. But Kate thinks that pheromones (the body’s natural sex attractants matter too). But one thing she definitely hates is men who are such fusspots about their bodies. It’s sickening and disgusting when you see them plucking their eyebrows or getting their hair dyed.

“I think some guys try to please what other people think they should look like, instead of knowing how they feel the best in themselves,” said Kate.

Meanwhile, Kate says that if you need to look at a man’s personal hygiene standards just take a peek in his washroom closet. Kate keeps a nutritional regimen that allows for super-fitness.

“I’m constantly talking to my male friends or someone I’m dating about how important it is to take care of yourself,” she said.

And she has a well-balanced choice among her male friends whom she likes to hang out with. She is not going to say a definite no to a Playboy shoot but for now it is not among her plans.

“I never like to say never because there are circumstances that I could do pretty much anything if it inspires me and if I think that it’s cool at the time,” said Kate Upton. “But right now, at this point in my career, I’m not doing Playboy.”

Kate prefers a male to feed her a little bit of everything in moderation when she has lunch or dinner with him too. Kate is also the professional ambassador for Gillette. And the Sports Illustrated model is also endorsing the Express Life too.
