- KELLY CLARKSON AND DAUGHTER RIVER ROSE GRACE THE COVER OF PEOPLE’S MAGAZINE
Kelly Clarkson gets candid in the interview with People’s magazine cover story about the bliss in her domestic due to her family.
Kelly Clarkson along with her daughter River Rose appeared on the cover of the People’s magazine 9th March issue. Kelly Clarkson 38-year-old gave an interview at her Nashville era home as a feature in the magazine and revealed how much her life has improved since having her first biological child. The first ever American Idol winner Clarkson admits she never presumed her life could have altered in such a big way and described it as a huge 180 degree angle change.
In a matter of a single year Clarkson got married to Brandon Blackstock and became the step-mother to his previous two children and then had her own daughter, and according to Clarkson she couldn’t be happier about the transition. Becoming a mom was never in the book of expectations of life for Clarkson, but the transformation has been awesome for her and has completely changed her perspectives and priorities.

Nowadays Clarkson’s life revolves around her husband, daughter River Rose (8 months) and her step-kids Savannah (13 yrs.) and Seth (8 years). According to Clarkson her life is a wonderful chaos that includes diapers and homework with her 3 children and date nights with her husband and magically even takes out a little time for her career.
Clarkson relates she loves being a singer and musician and in the past all she ever relied on for self-worth was the success of her career. However those days are gone for Clarkson as she believes herself to be more than just a career oriented person and has more significant aspects to be concerned about such as her family.
Clarkson believes the day she gave birth to her daughter River Rose was the happiest day of her life and it brought her a level of peace unknown to her before. The lover for her family has helped Clarkson heal from the injuries of her own parents’ divorce and has given her a new meaningful purpose in life. Clarkson admitted some of her friends believe she wants to create the kind of happy family life she never had as a kid and Clarkson believes she might be doing the very thing.
Previously the week before in an interview with Nick Grimshaw the BBC Radio 1 host Clarkson disclosed she would love to have more collaboration with more artists but every artist she asks says no. At times the rejection makes Clarkson feel like she has a disease such as a plague or leprosy so the other artists don’t come close to her. However later Clarkson clarified the reference to a plague was meant to be a joke.
Clarkson is soon going to be releasing her seventh studio album entitled ‘Piece by Piece’ and three new songs from the album were released this week. The three songs released are called ‘Piece by Piece, ‘Run Run Run’ and ‘Invincible’. ‘Run Run Run’ is a cover collaboration between Kelly Clarkson and John Legend who have worked together before as judges on the ABC competition show Duets in 2012.
