Kelly Osbourne discussed her five years on Fashion Police on CBS’s The Talk alongside her mother Sharon. She explicitly said that they were the best years of her life.
Kelly Osbourne put up a post on Instagram in which she is being made ready for an appearance on The Talk. She looks pretty excited and her purple hair are gorgeous indeed. Kelly was on The Fashion Police for half a decade alongside Joan Rivers. She left after Joan’s death under controversial circumstances.
Apparently her costar Giuliana Rancic made some racially charged comments about Zendaya’s dreadlocks. She said that they smelled of weed and patchoulli. This led to many fans of Zendaya speaking out against both Kelly and Giuliana on the social pages of the Internet.
Kelly made her position clear many times saying that she was not the one who had made the racist comments. But the dissing hate speech continued to pour in. That’s when Kelly said that enough was enough and she was going to quit the show since she was not going to be embroiled in a controversy for which she was not responsible in the first place.
She left and now several other substitutes including Chrissy Teigen and Khloe Kardashian not to mention Amber Rose are being considered to take her place.
Kelly chose to remain silent about why she left Fashion Police on The Talk. But as she sat beside her mother, she did say this much that the time spent on Fashion Police was the best she had ever had. She especially praised and lauded the late and great Joan Rivers who was a straightforward and candid person with a heart of gold.
Joan had a child-like purity about her that simply could not be imitated by any other adult. As for the experience Kelly had gained from Fashion Police, it would come in handy in other assignments and projects that awaited her. Kelly said that she wanted to try something new.
In fact, there were lots of new things she wanted to sample. She had hardly tasted life and was pretty enthused about the future. Kelly is known for her honest speech habits and calls a spade a spade.
But Kelly wouldn’t dream of being racist and making fun of someone’s hair simply because they smelled a certain way. That notoriety belongs to Giuliana Rancic alone and even she has repented and apologized for her behavior on Fashion Police.
