- Khloe Kardashian Dissed by Fans for Wearing Veil on Instagram
Khloe Kardashian was thoroughly dissed by her fans and followers for wearing a veil on Instagram. They said that it didn’t suit her personality or character for that matter.
Khloe Kardashian has sparked the debate about the Clash of Civilizations once again. While this foxy lady was in Dubai, she decided that while in Rome she had to do as the Romans do. So she wore a black veil and Islamic conservative dress and posted a pic of it on Instagram with the words “Habibi Love” alongside the photograph.
This resulted in a spate of foul words from many of her followers who felt it was an act that was engaged in out of her league. One of the commentators said that women got killed and beaten black and blue for wearing the hijab and Khloe had a lot of nerve to don it as a fashion statement. Another fan said that the veil was a sign of backwardness and Khloe’s wearing it was a hypocritical endorsement of this practice.
However, there were some who took her side by saying that she was being culturally sensitive and especially since she used to be the girlfriend of French Montana who was a Muslim, this suited her. Others spoke of how she might have mistook the Arabic word “habibi” which means “my sweetheart” for the word “hajib”.
Her sister, Kendall also wore a similar veil when she visited Dubai earlier this year. But that didn’t create such a huge fuss as Khloe’s veil has. Khloe was in Dubai in order to attend a beauty seminar.
Meanwhile, Khloe also posted pics of the giant aquarium in her hotel room in Dubai. It actually has a life-size shark in it. The Kardashian Klan definitely know how to create some controversy that comes in handy for publicity purposes. After all, being outrageous is the secret of fame these days.
