A shooting which supposedly occurred at Lil Wayne’s residential area turned out to be a prank call. After police invaded the home there was nothing serious going on and Lil Wayne wasn’t even home.
Police were informed by a caller that someone had entered rapper Lil Wayne’s home and that four people had been shot. The police entered Lil Wayne’s Miami mansion and found no clues as to any breaking or assault. That is why the department declared on Twitter that it was nothing serious.

As for Lil Wayne, he was not even present in his residence when the police came. It looks like it was nothing but a prank call.

In 2013, Lil Wayne was the target of another hoax when he had a seizure and had to be hospitalized. A rumor started and his fans thought that he was dead. But he dismissed any such rumors and posted a message to the effect that he was alive and well.
This time around the rumors had it that there was someone suspicious loitering outside his house. Then the prank caller told the police that there had been four shootings in his home. Police rushed over with guard dogs and invaded the privacy of his home only to find out that it was a hoax.

Lil Wayne meanwhile was at the studio and decided to get back at the prank caller. He posted a pic of himself on Instagram.
Whoever it was who decided to play this dirty joke on Lil Wayne better not show his face because he will probably find himself facing Lil Wayne’s wrath.
If such an incident repeats itself it will be a case of “crying wolf” and police will not take the crisis seriously even if it turned out to be serious. Lil Wayne is known for his naughty and explicit lyrics which contain sexually upfront references.
He has been known to have been involved with Nicki Minaj in the past and shot several music videos with her too. It would be best for Lil Wayne to keep a vigilant eye open for anyone who hangs around his home environment. That is because although this time around it turned out to be a dud, next time he might not be so lucky.
