SNL
The SNL 40 finale aired on Saturday hosted by Louis C.K. and musical guest Rihanna. Louis CK’s monologue is still topic of controversy on Monday. His child molester joke was shocking.
The legendary comedy show Saturday Night Live wrapped up its 40th season on the weekend. SNL40 was a regular top trending hashtag on Twitter in the past couple of month as the episodes this season have been excellent and fans loved them. The SNL40Finale was also trending hashtag on Saturday still hours after the show. One reason was the opening monologue of Louis C.K. Did he go to far with his racial and child molester jokes is still a big controversial topic on Monday.
Louis C.K. opened the show with jokes about his mild racism because he is born in the 70s. His racial jokes have not been something that have not been done yet in stand-up. His child molester joke is though pushing the limit of comedy. I personally never heard that one and I am pretty sure this joke has never been made on TV. Louis C.K. said “Child molesters are very tenacious people. From their point of view, it must be really good to risk so much!” This joke is so wrong in many ways, but this is what great stand-up comedy is all about.
