You can rent the Apple Watch for $45 a week before making your final purchase
The Apple Watch has done an amazing job so far to convince us that it is an amazing piece of technology on the wearable platform. There is a slight puddle in this, however, and that is its high price. Even the most basic version of the smartwatch is going to cost more than many other types on the market and this is one reason why many of us wouldn’t want to spend our money right away. Not all of us are risk takers when it comes to expensive products and we usually wait till someone we know gets to use the device and give us their review.
This is no longer necessary and you are not going to wait too long or depend on others’ opinions. Decide for yourself with Lumoid’s Apple Watch rental service which gives you a chance to try out the product.
Lumoid, a gadget rental startup, will bring this rental service after Apple Watch is launched in April. According to Mashable, customers can rent out Apple’s smartwatch for $45 a week and the best part about this deal is that not all this rental charge is going in for the testing; $20 out of this every week will be reserved for the purchase of the Apple Watch in case you decide to buy it at the end of the trial.
This offer is not only limited to the basic sports version, but you can also rent out the standard steel variant for $55 out of which $30 will be reserved for your ultimate purchase.
“It’s easy to see how a phone or computer or tablet fits into your life, but a watch that reminds you to stand or helps you pay for your groceries can be a harder sell, especially when you only get to test it in the store,” a company spokesperson told Mashable.
