The weird ad features the 2014 Maserati Ghibli. The little girl starring in the Maserati ad is no other than Academy Award-nominated actress Quvenzhane Wallis. The Maserati ad was different and confusing, but it worked better than all other Super Bowl car ads according to Kelley Blue Book. Maserati Ghibli searches increased 4,250% in new-car searches on KBB.com, the most of any advertised model during Super Bowl XLVIII.

Other cars advertised like Jaguar F-Type, Hyundai Genesis and Audi A3 increased 1,733%, 838% and 813% in search activity on the site after the ads aired, respectively. This is quite impressive feat for the Maserati brand. Clearly the Ghibli is the not very familiar car yet with most Americans, but you also could say that about the Jaguar F-Type. It looks like Chrysler Fiat will sell quite some of the affordable Maserati Ghibli (starts at $66,900).
