Matt Damon revealed yesterday that he will be Jason Bourne again. This confirms reports from September.
I am excited. Matt Damon will do another Jason Bourne movie. We carried a report back in September that Matt Damon and director Paul Greengrass would be working together again on a new Jason Bourne movie. Last night Jason Bourne talked about it to E! Online at the Project Greenlight event.
Ben Affleck brought up the topic in the interview and Matt Damon said then: “Yes, next year. It’ll be in 2016 when the movie will actually come out. Paul Greengrass is going to do another one and that’s all I ever said. I just needed him to say yes.”
The story of the new Bourne 4 movie is totally unclear at this point. The last Bourne movie with Matt Damon was The Bourne Ultimatum released in 2007. In 2012 The Bourne Legacy with Jeremy Renner came out. There is also supposed to come another one with him. Let’s see how the studio is scheduling these.
