Gilt has teamed up with designer Michael Bastian to offer their members a luxury watch with smart technology engineered by Hewlett-Packard. The MB Chronowing is going on sale on Nov. 7th starting at $349 (same price as Apple Watch).
As reported back in Summer, Gilt has teamed up with designer Michael Bastian to offer their members a luxury watch with smart technology engineered by Hewlett-Packard. The watch has the name MB Chronowing. Michael Bastian is an American fashion designer known for his namesake label, Michael Bastian, and his work for brands such as GANT.
The Michael Bastian Smartwatch redefines the classic timepiece with a modern technology twist, blending design and superior craftsmanship with innovative technology. Michael’s overall design aesthetic of the watch was inspired by the dashboards and trim details of luxury cars.
Now the pricing and the release date of the Michael Bastian x Hewlett Packard smartwatch have been released. The stylish smartwatches will go on sale on November 7th. The pricing starts at $349. The high-end version with sapphire-glass sells for $649 according to the WSJ.

To celebrate the launch, Michael Bastian also designed a limited edition version with a sleek all-black look and custom luxury details and materials (seen in sketch).
