- Egg McMuffin all day long.
McDonald’s will test offering Breakfast all-day. This means consumers can have an Egg McMuffin any time of the day. I like it.
I admit. I am a big McDonald’s breakfast fan. More specifically I’m lovin’ the Egg McMuffin. Often though i am arriving to late at a McDonald’s restaurant and breakfast is over. The typical 10:30am breakfast end time is just way to early. This annoyance might soon be from the past. According to CNBC report, McDonald’s will test 24/7 breakfast.
The fast food restaurant will test all-day breakfast starting next month in the San Diego area.
“We look forward to learning from this test, and it’s premature to speculate on any outcomes,” wrote spokeswoman Terri Hickey in an email to CNBC. “We’re excited to serve our customers in this area some of McDonald’s great-tasting breakfast sandwiches, hash browns and other favorites all day long.”
McDonald’s will need though adjust the kitchen processes to accomodate breakfast menu and the standard menu at the same time. It makes sense for McDonald’s to invest in breakfast as their McCafe concept seems to do well.
