Gaming notebook has lots of hardware in a thin chassis
Medion has announced a new gaming notebook that has some nice hardware in a thin machine. The notebook is called the Medion Erazer X7611 and the notebook is available to purchase right now. The gaming notebook has an Intel Core i7-4700HQ processor running at 2.4GHz.
Intel Turbo Boost technology lets the processor operate at up to 3.4GHz. Graphics for the gaming machine are via an NVIDIA GTX 765M graphics card with 2GB of RAM. The display is a 17.3-inch widescreen LED backlit unit with full HD resolution. One of the best things about the display is that it has a matte finish.
Storage is up to 1000GB of normal HDD space with a smaller 128GB SSD. It features a Dolby Home Theater certified sound system with a subwoofer. The machine also has an integrated HD webcam, Bigfoot E2205 network controller, and WiFi.
Power for the notebook comes from a 6-cell lithium ion unit and the machine has Bluetooth 4.0 inside. The operating system is Windows 8.1. The X7611 starts at £1049.00.
