Actor Michael Fassbender talked about his role as Steve Jobs in the Danny Boyle directed movie Steve Jobs.
Michael Fassbender impressed in the first trailer of Steve Jobs that was released last month. He is perfectly channels Steve Jobs. Last night he briefly talked to Roger Friedman about his role as Steve Jobs.
Friedman asked: “Did you understand this enigmatic genius?” Fassbender responded: “Yes, I think so. I worship his intellect.” He added that it was a challenge to play Jobs because he looks nothing like him. Well. He certainly succeeded, maybe even an Oscar kind of way.
The upcoming Steve Jobs movie based on Walter Isaacson’s biography. Steve Jobs will be in theaters on October 9. The first trailer has been released and shows Michael Fassbender as Steve Jobs on stage of the iMac reveal back in 1998.
The movie is et backstage at three iconic product launches and ending in 1998 with the unveiling of the iMac. Steve Jobs is directed by Academy Award winner Danny Boyle and written by Academy Award winner Aaron Sorkin, working from Walter Isaacson’s best-selling biography of the Apple founder.
Academy Award-winning actress Kate Winslet starring as Joanna Hoffman, former marketing chief of Macintosh. Steve Wozniak, who co-founded Apple, is played by Seth Rogen, and Jeff Daniels stars as former Apple CEO John Sculley. The film also stars Katherine Waterston as Chrisann Brennan, Jobs’ ex-girlfriend, and Michael Stuhlbarg as Andy Hertzfeld, one of the original members of the Apple Macintosh development team.
