  • The Hit Daredevil Show Has Been Renewed By Netflix For Another Season

Daredevil has been renewed for second season after Netflix rolled out audio description for the superhero drama.

Looks like the Daredevil series is here for a while. There have been a number of superhero series released over the past years. And none of them looked brilliant until now. The Daredevil series is a brilliant one and it has been renewed for a second season.

The news of the show being booked for another season came after Netflix rolled out an “optimization for the visually impaired” feature and this started with the Marvel’s blind superhero. The fans made a petition in which they wanted the show to introduce a new audio description option.

The show is about a blind lawyer. This lawyer later becomes a superhero in the show. Ryan Dyck made a petition on the Change.org website and he said that it would be unfair if the Daredevil was a Netflix subscriber and he wasn’t able to watch his own show.

So this important feature for the blind and visually impaired was added to the Netflix show. The petition said that visually impaired people rely on visual description on what is happening on the screen. So now the visually impaired can also enjoy the new show.

The show’s director of content operations Tracy Wright said in a blog post that the company was going to start the introduction of audio description tracks in their select titles which began today with their critically acclaimed series.

Deborah Ann Woll plays Karen Page on the show. Whereas Charlie Cox plays the Daredevil. Robert Kingett is a blind journalist and he is the one who set up this Netflix project. He told CNBC that he has been asking the streaming service for quite some time now to add the audio description for the show.

He was very pleased after the show added the audio description to the show and he was thrilled to see that it is professionally done. Other hit Netflix shows will have the feature in the upcoming weeks.
