Apple has finally approved Pebble Time app for iPhone
Pebble was definitely not amused by the amount of time Apple was taking to review its new Pebble Time iPhone app. So that’s why it wasn’t shy either of expressing its concerns on the Kickstarter page. Here is what Pebble had to say : “The Pebble Time iPhone app, as we’ve all noticed, is not yet live on iTunes AppStore. It remains ‘in review’. This unexpected circumstances pains us as much as it does backers with watches ready to set up.”
One could even assume that Pebble took an indirect hit at Apple watch by claiming it to be the reason for the delay of the new app. However, it is to be noted that Apple had earlier approved the Pebble App on /4/18. However, owing to certain bugs, it was pulled off and after minor bug fixes it was submitted for review again. So in order to pressurize Apple, Pebble took on the stage for its fans and followers and said : “We’re sure Apple, like Pebble loves its fans and is responsive to feedback. Together, we can kindly express our desire to see the AppStore #FreeOurPebbleTime with a speedy approval of Pebble Time Watch for iPhone. And the reaction was no surprise considering that Pebble currently has over 78,471 backers and has managed to raise more than $20 million.
